Thank you for your interest in Club Elevate. I started this club to create more opportunities for athletes who love the game of volleyball. It was always a dream of mine to own my own club and look at me now. I started coaching when I was 18 years old while still playing in college. Being a player and a coach of the game has really set me apart from other coaches. I don’t coach because I can’t (play the game anymore). I coach because I can relate to my players even more because I currently still play.
I started my coaching career for club volleyball in the city while getting my Bachelor’s Degree (Sports reporting) at DePaul University. I played libero and outside for DePaul’s club team. I coached at Walter Payton College Prep, and JV at Whitney Young both the boys’ and girls’ programs. I then got an opportunity to coach JV at St. Ignatius. I coached there for 2 seasons until I moved back home. I started coaching for Club 1 volleyball club and then I took over the varsity position for Plainfield South High School. I coached there for three seasons before I coached at the collegiate level. I coached at Dominican University for one year as an assistant and then became the head coach. I currently play doubles sand and now run my own sand clinics and sand tournaments.
I have experience in training all positions. I am also a personal trainer so I teach jump training to my clients and body awareness when training/playing. I also have experience in recruiting and making highlight films.
I am really excited to coach your athlete whether it be for clinics, privates or the club season. Thank you for trusting me to elevate your child’s game.
